What is the Chamber of Commerce and what does it do?
The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization who strives to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of Sarasota region by building business success, and seeks to attract new residents and industries to the area while retaining existing businesses. The Chamber offers educational and networking opportunities, business resource such as directories and mailing lists, and government advocacy to protect and advance the interest of business. The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit organization. The Chamber is not a government body or the Better Business Bureau.

Dues are based on what level you would like to invest in and are deductible for federal income tax purposes as a business expense.

Our 1,400 members range from single-person shops to corporations with thousands of employees.
